The following statistical analysis cannot necessarily be taken at face value, but we thought it would be a useful indicator. Some 200 claims recently investigated on behalf of PHI/Disability insurers revealed:
Fraudulent claimants fell into one of 3 categories:
- Working whilst still making a claim.
- Showed no obvious signs of disability.
- Carrying out activities previously stated they were unable to do.
